Games for the weekend 27/12…

We travel acroos town to the London Stadium to take on West Ham for a 3 o’clock kick off

West Ham v Fulham

After a hard fought win against Forest on Monday hopefully the lads won’t have “over indulged” and will be raring to go.
Raúl scoring from a pen’, I didn’t realise that he’s never missed a Premier League penalty, 11 from 11 matching Yaya Toure’s record, this was the first penalty for Fulham this season and only the second this calendar year!
Anderson’s finger looked nasty and Harry looked to have twisted his knee shortly before Adama replaced him.
Young Kusi-Asare came on in the 85th minute and, I think, looked lively and caused Forest a few problems. Surely he must get more game time over the coming weeks?
Kevin had a really good game, it can’t be long before he gets his first goal? and hopefully more will follow.

Historically we’ve not had too good a record against West Ham starting in 1898 when we were in the Southern League Second division when we lost 2-1 and 0-1. To date we’ve had 34 wins, 52 losses and 25 draws.
We lost our only FA Cup final 0-2 in 1975 to them even though we had Bobby Moore and Alan Mullery, Fulham were in the Second Division (now the Championship), whilst West Ham were in the First Division (now the Premier League).
Interestingly the West Ham team were the last “all English” team to win the FA Cup, Fulham hold the record for the most games played to reach the final.
Our record, for the previous 6 games, is reasonable with 2 wins, 3 losses and a draw.

I’d start the same 11 that started against Forest, so my team would be…

Games for the Week-end 08/10

Another derby game see’s us travel across town to the London Stadium to take on West Ham.

West Ham Utd v Fulham

Well the game against Newcastle didn’t go to plan did it?
Mitro going off due to injury is a worry, hopefully it was just a precaution as being down to 10 men and being 2 goals down, he wouldn’t really have much support or chances so Marco thought it better to save him?
Other injuries for Willian, from another behind closed doors game?, compound the longer term injuries for Solomon and Willson, is it me or are we having more injuries this season compared to last?
At least we’ll have Palahina back for this game, for me he’s our “new” Danny Murphy.

West Ham will be relieved to have got their second win of the season last weekend having 1 draw and 5 losses.

Our record against the Hammers is not very good with only 3 wins, 11 losses and 3 draws.

I’m assuming that Mitro won’t be fit for the game so my team would be…

West Ham v Fulham

Games for the Weekend 22/02

We get an early start to our weekend visiting the London Stadium to give West Ham a game on Friday evening.

West Ham v Fulham

It’ll be interesting to see if either of the last-day signings are fit enough to get a game? Also I’d like to see both Ryan and Tom start, they were so important to us last season and, in my opinion, should be playing week in week out, I can’t understand why they haven’t been.
West Ham are having an OK(ish) season, they started badly but have been steadily improving over recent weeks, so it won’t be an easy game for us however, this and the Southampton game next week, we need to get maximum points if we want any, however faint, hope of avoiding relegation.
