the 1898 Badge
the 1898 Fulham Football Club badge
the Badge 1931-39
the badge was first seen on players shirts in 1931
the Badge 1945-47
after the 2nd World War the badge was changed to a crest emblazoned on a red background
the Badge 1947-51
in 1947 the red background was changed to white
the Badge 1951-72
in 1951 the badge was reduced in size and the "Fulham FC" ledgend dropped
the Badge 1972-81
the badge was changed to a monogram in 1972
the Badge 1981 1984-1995
the monogram was subsequently replaced in 1981 by a simplified version of the Hammersmith & Fulham coat of arms.
the Badge 1982-84
after only one season this was replaced by a circular badge, however it was reinstated a few seasons later in 1984.
the Badge 1995-2001
in 1995 a new crest was introduced that was effectively a modern coloured take on the 1945 version.
the Badge 2001
in 2001, a new shield with an angled red FFC on a black and white striped background was introduced for the first Premier League campaign.
Of course the Fulham FC crest, 1945-2001, was based on the borough's badge and the club has the intellectual property rights to the 'old' badge...
